Off to Tiffany’s for my birthday present with the parents, lunch in the North End, and then maybe Concord to go to Orchard House if the snow permits it.
God, what a Wellesley woman I’m becoming.

She pronounces it in the proper Latin pronunciation, although we now anglicize it and say “Alum-knee.”

Last night’s Oscar-winning short documentary “Saving Face” was coproduced by Fazeelat Aslam ‘07 and directed by Smith alum Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. Very excited for the whole “Saving Face” team.
That moment when you finish a book, look around, and realize that everyone is just carrying on with their lives as though you didn’t just experience emotional trauma at the hands of a paperback.
